This is a side by side comparison of the new Byrd (division of Spyderco) Cara Cara (the bigger of the two) and the Meadowlark. The Cara Cara is roughly the same size as the Spyderco Endura and the Meadowlark is about the same as the Delica.  Also, JUST IN!  The Delica and Dragonfly pictured below with CBP Badge and USBP logo.  Lighter not included. For size comparison only.

A closer picture of the Byrd Meadowlark. Note the bird's eye shaped opening assist hole and the "vents" on the handle. Clip on opposite side.

This is the old standby, the Endura stainless steel combo edge.  A GREAT all-around navaja!

Here is a little bigger close up of the Endura.  Clip on opposite side.

A close up of the legacy USBP badge on the handle of the Endura, on the left and the CBP USBP badge on the Delica , on the right.

This is the combo edge, part plain and part serrated, a good all around blade for many uses. See the full blade picture below.

The fully serrated edge.  This requires a special sharpener that I carry.  You only sharpen the serrated side. Great for hard work.

A close up view of the combo edge, great all-around blade for multiple uses.

The plain edge.  If you are going to do a little whittling or other precision cutting, this is your blade.

A close up showing the BP logo and the knurled top edge of the Meadowlark blade (Cara Cara looks the same, only bigger.).

What would you think of this knife with the badge and logo engraved on it?  This is something we are considering.  Let us know what you think.

We now have a source for all brands of knives. If there is any particular knife that you wish to buy, send us an email describing the piece with as much detail as possible.  Send a link to the knife you want and we'll try to beat that price!  Pictured below are a couple of Spyderco items that are available for order. Any special order will require two to three days of lead time to get the item from the supplier.  Actually, you can cruise www.moteng.com.  Anything you find there, I can order for you, more than likely cheaper than the posted price.

Keep Your Knives Sharp

Admit it.  You can't sharpen a knife.  Neither could I until I found the Lansky Sharpening System. The idea behind sharpening a knife is to maintain the same angle on both sides of the blade.  Without this tool, it is very difficult.  The Lansky system clamps the knife securely and uses a set of graduated grit stones attached to guide rods that fit through alignment holes on the knife clamp. The result is a perfectly sharpened knife with very few strokes. If you would like to purchase one, email me and I'll give you a nice price, better than the big guys!

Lansky Sharpening System $48.00
Timberline Sharpening System $48.00
4.5" serrated blade sharpener.  Also sharpens fish
hooks and any regular blade.  $9.99

This is the Harpy Model. You know, the one Hannibal used on the Italian detective.(NOT ENGRAVED) Originally designed for fishermen, this knife has a wide variety of cutting options.  $73.99 Lower Price! Now only $68.99.

First Responder Emergency Knife

All BPA's and emergency personnel need one of these. Comes with a specially designed seatbelt cutter and a two position window punch. There is nothing like it when the need arises! Comes with a pouch.  Price Cut!  Now $44.00, not $59.95
