LESLIE's Photos
A Trailblazer in USBP History
Leslie Mullins was one of the first four women to serve in the U.S. Border Patrol, graduating with Class 107 on July 31, 1975. She and three other women—Christine G. Davis (Gee), Gail Durand, and Doris H. Griffin—made history that day, completing their training at the Border Patrol Academy in Los Fresnos, Texas.
Leslie went on to have a distinguished career in the Yuma Sector, earning recognition as a skilled “pistolera” through numerous marksmanship awards and competitions. She later served as an instructor at the Border Patrol Academy, helping train new generations of agents.
