U.S. Border Patrol Firearms Qualification Course

General Course of Fire:
- Agents fire 50 rounds of ammunition.
- Shooting distances include:
- 25 yards
- 15 yards
- 10 yards
- 7 yards
- 5 yards
- 1.5 yards
- Agents shoot from multiple positions, including:
- Standing and kneeling
- Two-handed, strong-hand only, weak-hand only
- Strong hand with bent elbow
- Agents engage:
- Center mass and alternate aiming points
- From the holster and ready pistol position
- Agents must demonstrate:
- Emergency reloads
- Movement offline during engagements
- Minimum passing score: 40 out of 50 rounds on target
