Border Patrol Stories

Nothing But Half-Shirts
Just like bears do in the woods, so do Border Patrol Agents the remote field locations...

My coworker, Agent Steve F., was down to his last full t-shirt.  All of his other t-shirts became half-shirts as he didn't carry toilet paper in the field and was forced to cut them into strips with a pocket knife to clean himself.

On this particular day, when the sense of urgency struck, Steve was wearing his last full t-shirt and was overjoyed to be near a gas station to use.  His t-shirt guaranteed to live another day!

Steve finished his business in the stall and reached for the toilet paper and...  Nothing!  There was no toilet paper.

Accepting the fate of the situation, Steve removed his pocket knife and created another half-shirt of his last t-shirt.
