Border Patrol Stories

Por Que Naciste?
Back in the early 90's, San Diego Sector, we were very busy.  We were catching a lot of big groups all over the place and many were repeat "customers".  Each alien was always asked their name and place of birth.  It became a game to see who could get away with the most outrageous Mexican questioning.  There was, "Como pajamas?" "Como me llamo?"  (What is my name)  etc., to which each alien would just give their name no matter the words.

On one occasion, I asked the guy, "Como me llamo?" (Why were you born?)

He responded by looking at my name tag and saying, "Sir your name is Agent So and So."

Another time I asked a guy "Por que naciste?"

To which I got a wonderful story about his parents falling in love and wanting to have children.  Needless to say that guy got extra juice and crackers back at the station.

And yes my spelling of the Mexican words are probably way wrong

Por que naciste?
